She's named after an amazing lady I met through my first outdoor climbing stint and boy did we have an adventure! We were on our feet for maybe 12 hours or so, had a stunning view of Welsh countryside from a head-spinning height of an approximately 700m drop...while our lives hung on to little metal anchors pinned on rocks. The most memorable moment from this crazy adventure was when the stars came out on the clearest sky I've had the privilege to see. We saw billions of glittering stars strung across the sky, in the hazy white light of the milky way. It was beautiful, and unforgettable.
